REMEDIAL MASSAGE

   ü Each remedial massage includes a brief consultation and the use of aromatherapy oils

   ü    Payment is required at the time of your visit by cash or EFTPOS (AUS$)

INFANT MASSAGE INSTRUCTION

Full payment for the entire course is required at the first class.
No refunds are available if more than two sessions are missed.

Appointment changes require at least 2 hours notice.

There are many valid reasons for missing a class. Therefore, a make-up class is available for clients who give notice PRIOR to the class time. The lesson charge still applies to the cancelled day but the “make up” lesson is free.
 

                                              Make-up lessons are only provided:
        ü  If at least 2 hours notice is given prior to missing class
        ü  If there is space available in another class
                                             ü  On a maximum of 2 occasions for each fully paid course

No notice = No complimentary make-up class or refund.

A group make-up class costs $20 if you have given no notice.
A private make-up class costs $30 if you have given no notice.

ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME

Clients are encouraged to come 5 minutes early for appointments.

When the “Massage in Progress, Please do not Disturb” sign is displayed in the office glass door, please  quietly enter the air-conditioned office and relax for a few moments on the seating provided. Service is never far away.

Appointments run to a designated time schedule. If clients are late, their treatment will be  shortened so as not to inconvenience others and clients will be charged from the time their appointment was booked.

APPOINTMENT CHANGES

Remedial Massage appointment changes require at least 24 hours notice.

Infant Massage appointment cancelations or changes require at least 2 hours notice.

A simple phone call, text message or email is all that is needed if you can't make an appointment (or are late).

Please remember the time for your appointment has been especially put aside for you and your therapist. Giving notice PRIOR to your appointment time allows someone else (and your therapist/instructor) the opportunity to use that time more productively.  Everyone's time is valuable!

Consider the consequences of when you do not show up for your appointment - electricity is still running to operate the air-conditioning to keep the room at an optimum temperature, the lighting is on, the room is tidy with new towels on the massage table set up ready for your arrival, music has been selected especially for your treatment, the heated treatments and the aromatherapy oils are prepared in the time prior to a client's arrival for a remedial massage, your therapist is dressed in a work uniform and has spent time reading your 'client record' for information on past treatments and the day's goals. Even more preparation is involved in Infant Massage Classes!

At the end of the day, in addition to the monetary and time loss of client’s not showing up, your "booked" appointment has meant other clients have missed out because the schedule was fully "booked".

If client’s fail to give adequate notice for appointment changes, there may not be a future appointment available for you at this business.

AN 'INITIAL CONSULTATION' IS NECESSARY:

        ü For all New Clients

        ü For Existing Clients who have not received any treatment

                                                               (at  Focus On Movement during the past 12 months)

        ü For Gift Certificates for New Clients

                                                              (unless you would like your gift recipient to pay their own initial fee)

At an initial consultation, all clients must give their "informed consent" and complete a “client record” to record/update their current details. This helps determine the most appropriate treatment and also helps with setting future realistic outcomes. If an initial consultation is necessary, clients must pay the ‘initial’ rate, regardless of their treatment time.

10th 60 minute remedial massage = gift of extra massage time or an aromatherapy product gift

(choice of gift is provided at management's discretion)

After they book a treatment/class, your gift is an extra 10 minutes massage treatment on your next 60 minute Massage appointment or an aromatherapy product gift (choice of gift is provided at management's discretion).

Decide on your desired gift value, ring to arrange an appointment to purchase and collect your gift certificate.

     ü Gift Vouchers are printed on matching paper and envelopes

     ü Gift vouchers are valid for three months from their date of issue

     ü Please mention gift voucher when you ring to make an appointment time
